Make a Difference:
Spread awareness about maternal morbidity and mortality at their institutions and surrounding communities
Gain valuable research experience on women’s health issues worldwide
Participate in projects that directly support Saving Mothers' programs and mission
Raise funds to provide essential supplies to women and their providers
Collaborate with other student groups in the Saving Mothers' Chapter Network
How to Start a Student Chapter:
Step 1: Interested students must read the Chapter Application Guide and complete the application form below or email the Application Form to Saving Mothers at getinvolved@savingmothers.org.
Step 2:Once the application form has been reviewed, a Saving Mothers' team member will provide the applicant with the Saving Mothers' Chapter Start-Up Manual and work with the student to gain approval as a student organization on his/her campus.
Step 3:After you have provided us with proof of your status as a student organization on your campus, you will then become a recognized chapter in the Saving Mothers Student Chapter Network. We look forward to working with you on activities and projects that will promote women's health around the world.

Saving Mothers firmly believes that students, united by the common goal of promoting women's health and preventing maternal deaths worldwide, can work together to make an impact on the lives of women, especially mothers in resource-poor communities.
Starting a Saving Mothers Chapter is an empowering and rewarding way to improve the lives of women around the world. Students interested in joining the fight to reduce maternal mortality can apply to establish a Saving Mothers' Chapter on their college, university and medical school campuses. These chapters:
