Saving through Fitness

Organizing donation-based fitness sessions are a great way to raise awareness for Saving Mothers' mission among your peers and raise funds for us at the same time. Many forms of fitness have been shown to help alleviate stress and help improve overall health and wellbeing. We at Saving Mothers promote healthy lifestyles and want to give people the opportunity to contribute what is in their heart. Our donation based fitness events, including Yoga, Spinning, Pilates and more, make each individual an active participant in choosing to make a great impact.

Here are some ideas about how to organize the event:

  • Find a studio or any indoor / outdoor open space that can hold up to 20 participants
  • Since the session will be donation based, the key to success is a minimum entry fee of $10
  • Before the session begins, take this opportunity to let your audience know the importance of the organization they are supporting
  • Rent out fitness equipment and sell refreshments to raise even more money!
