Why women need access to contraceptives

“Contraceptives are one of the greatest antipoverty innovations the world has ever seen, and we can give women access to them,” Melinda Gates.

At Saving Mothers, we believe that contraceptives will allow women to lead the life that they want to live. With contraceptives, women can be lifted out of poverty, children can stay in school, women can work outside of the home, and women will be less likely to die from birth related complications.

These are the reasons why every woman around the globe should have access to contraceptives. Without access, contraceptives become a public health issue on a grand scale.
